All Things D writes, Ankit Jain, Google employee of the past three years, left his position as head of Search and Discovery for the Google Play Web store last week. Before leaving, Jain?s position entailed maintaining the Google Play storefront infrastructure and helping build the search backends for finding apps, music, e-books and movies on the site, according to his LinkedIn profile. ?It?s time to start the next 5 years by giving myself a chance to build something from the ground up,?
